Yep, 1500 should be pretty close.

Do you really think it's that much? I had one a couple of years ago that I pushed off the frame and rolled it around a little. It was heavy but I didn't think it would be that much. Maybe I'm tougher than I thought. I think I'll go downtown and pick a fight and see.

No fights, it's your birthday and you wouldn't want a black eye today.

I'd guess that 1500 is pretty close. A baseline Bronco with no options was 4,757 LBS when new.

thanks for the info guys. I actually thought a bare bones Bronco would have been over 5000lbs out of the box.
I am looking forward to 2 trips into the US for Broncos before summer. 1 100 miles East and 1 500miles West. If all goes as planned the one from NY will have a 6.9 diesel w/5spd with Dana 60 leaf front 5.13s and a detroit locker, and a Dana 70 rear powerlock. start with 36s and not too much lift, maybe 38s eventually.

western one will be getting a 98 Powerstroke and E4OD, probably 8bolt conversion on the Dana 44 front, and a Dana70 rear. will be my summer time family wagon and trailer hauler.

All I needed was a couple Bronco bodies and I will be using up driveline parts I have been hoarding for over 10 yrs

I guess I can make up a little temporary flatbed on my pickup box trailer and carry it home on that. 1500lbs shouldn't be a problem, maybe take the front clip apart and put it in the back to save space? hopefully my old MB diesel winter beater will still be running. it seems pretty fuel eficient and slow

cheers James
